Why is the auction not taking place?
A property can be withdrawn from the auction until shortly before the auction. In that case, the auction will not take place. This can have various reasons.
For example, the creditor and debtor may still have reached an agreement. In that case, the auction is cancelled. Or private bids may have been received, and the seller may choose a private foreclosure sale on that basis, possibly with permission from a supervisory judge. In that case too, the auction is cancelled.
In these kinds of situations, the auction does not proceed. We then cancel the auction or postpone it until further notice.
