When am I entitled to the stake premium?
The highest bidder in the ascending-bid phase, the inzetter, receives a stake premium. This premium is a percentage of the placed bid, often 1%, if another party mines the auction.
If the seller awards the auction property to the person who mined it, the inzetter is entitled to the stake premium if this is stated in the auction conditions. Once the buyer has paid, the stake premium is transferred to the inzetter within 6 weeks. Often, if the auction is not awarded, there is no right to the stake premium.
